The National Bank of Serbia announced it will participate in World Savings Week from 27 to 31 October through a set of financial education activities aimed primarily at students and museum visitors. Planned events include a “My Budget and Me” workshop for students of the “Nikola Tesla” high school in Bolevac focused on personal and household budget planning, alongside a tournament using the educational board game “Finances for later” for students of the same school. Students of the School of Economics and Trade in Smederevo will also take part in the board game sessions covering income and expense decisions. The programme also includes regular visits to the National Bank of Serbia’s Visitor Centre – Money Museum, featuring the core exhibition “Money on the Soil of Serbia” and the thematic exhibition “Coins of Serbia – From Idea to Realization”, alongside education on the role of the central bank, counterfeit recognition and the functioning of financial markets. Activities are scheduled to run across 27–31 October.
