The Central Bank of Cyprus published updated aggregate data showing that the banking sector’s nonperforming exposure ratio remained at 1.6% at the end of June 2026, unchanged from March. The ratio follows the European Banking Authority’s risk dashboard methodology, which includes loans and advances to central banks and credit institutions. Provision coverage for nonperforming exposures increased to 64.9% from 62.7%. Restructured credit facilities totaled EUR 0.7 billion, of which EUR 0.3 billion remained classified as nonperforming.
