The Bank of Portugal held the fourth edition of its Forum on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing on 5 June 2025, with the new European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) participating as a guest. The meeting covered the current status of Portugal’s national money laundering and terrorist financing (ML/TF) risk assessment and developments related to the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
