The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis announced four new appointments to its Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC) and named a chair. James L. Williams III, Chief Executive Officer of BankNorth in Casselton, North Dakota, will serve as chair as a returning member. The CDIAC advises the Minneapolis Fed president from the perspective of thrifts, credit unions, and banks in the Ninth Federal Reserve District with total assets of less than USD 10 billion. The 2025 appointees are Andrew Gesell (Chief Executive Officer, BankCherokee, St. Paul, Minnesota), Mike Hauswirth (President and Chief Executive Officer, Superior National Bank, Hancock, Michigan), Trina Hoff (Chief Executive Officer, Northern Communities Credit Union, Eveleth, Minnesota), and Kelly Skalicky (President and Chief Executive Officer, Stearns Bank, St. Cloud, Minnesota), who will join Williams and five other returning members. The chair also represents the district at the Board of Governors’ national CDIAC meetings in Washington, D.C.
