Vietnam State Securities Commission requires VND 1 million fee payment to finalise securities practising certificate issuance

The Vietnam State Securities Commission issued Notice No. 35/TB-UBCK requiring individuals named in an attached list to pay the licensing fee for issuance of a securities practising certificate in order to complete the certification process. The fee is VND 1,000,000 per person, as set out in the Ministry of Finance’s Circular No. 25/2022/TT-BTC on securities-sector fees and charges. The fee can be paid by bank transfer to the Vietnam State Securities Commission’s accounts at VietinBank or Vietcombank, or paid directly at the Commission. For bank transfers, the payment description must specify the certificate recipient’s name and identity document number. If the recipient does not complete the procedure to receive the certificate within one year from the fee-payment notice, the Commission will issue a decision cancelling the certificate that has been granted.
