The Kuwait Capital Markets Authority has licensed Kuwait Investment Company to market privately in Kuwait up to 1.5 million shares in European Credit, a Luxembourg-established subfund of Goldman Sachs Alternatives SICAV. The offering is restricted to professional clients, with Kuwait Investment Company receiving subscription applications. The shares will be offered at a variable price based on net asset value, plus a 2% subscription fee for class R1D or R1A shares. The license runs for one year from issuance of the authority’s licensing certificate after payment of the prescribed fees, which must be paid within one month of the decision or the approval will be treated as void.
