The Bank of Italy announced it is organizing the third edition of its biennial workshop on microsimulation, titled "Advancing microsimulation modelling: methods, applications, and innovations", to be held in Rome on 4 July 2025. The workshop will convene researchers, practitioners and policymakers and will focus on the distributional and labour supply effects of tax and benefit reforms on households’ disposable income, as well as the development and application of microsimulation models for firms. Professor Camille Landais (London School of Economics) will deliver the keynote speech, and paper proposals must be submitted by 18 April 2025 under the call for papers.
