The National Credit Union Administration has expanded access to its Community Development Revolving Loan Fund (CDRLF) for Newly Chartered and Urgent Needs grants, extending eligibility to more low-income-designated credit unions and doubling the maximum award amount. The maximum grant has increased from USD 7,500 to USD 15,000. The program supports credit unions recovering from natural disasters and other emergencies, and newly chartered credit unions operating for less than 10 years with assets of USD 10 million or less can now apply for grants to cover operational costs. Eligibility requirements and application instructions are set out in the Newly Chartered and Urgent Needs Grant Guidelines.
