The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) announced it is continuing its partnership with Fintech Cadence to provide fintech founders with regulation-focused support as they build and scale in Ontario. Through the Innovation Office, FSRA will engage startups in Fintech Cadence’s Ascension accelerator program and explain how FSRA’s Test and Learn Environment (TLE) can support product and business development. As part of Ascension, FSRA will host a Masterclass for participating founders covering regulatory considerations for startups, FSRA’s innovation and regulation initiatives, and the value and benefits of participating in the TLE. The partnership also includes the introduction of an FSRA Innovation Stream into the Ascension program, which connects fintech companies with experts, mentors, and partners as they seek to grow their businesses and attract investment.
