The South African Reserve Bank has published the March 2025 Quarterly Bulletin (No. 315) statistical tables, updating publicly available balance of payments and national accounts datasets with annual series through 2024 and quarterly indicators through 2024 Q4. The tables provide annual balance of payments aggregates and components in ZAR millions for 2017–2024, including the current account, capital transfer account and a detailed financial account split across direct investment, portfolio investment, financial derivatives, other investment and reserve assets, with the previous four years flagged as preliminary and subject to revision. The bulletin also updates gross value added by kind of economic activity and household final consumption expenditure at current prices and at constant 2015 prices for 2017–2024, alongside selected per-capita national accounts measures and seasonally adjusted quarter-to-quarter percentage changes in key national accounts variables from 2020 Q1 to 2024 Q4.
