The Central Bank of Armenia reported that Governor Martin Galstyan participated in the ceremonial signing of a loan agreement to finance the Firebird AI megaproject. The agreement was concluded among six financial institutions: Ardshinbank, Acba Bank, Evocabank, Fastbank, the C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia fund, and the Amundi-Acba Asset Management fund. In remarks at the event, Galstyan presented the financing as evidence that Armenia’s banking and financial system has sufficient capacity to evaluate and implement projects of this scale and international significance, while reiterating the central bank’s focus on maintaining macroeconomic and financial stability and a reliable, transparent and predictable regulatory environment to support such investments. The ceremony was also attended by Armenia’s Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires David Allen.
