The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan reported that Tajikistan’s official delegation participated in an International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group constituency meeting held during the annual meetings in Thailand. Discussions covered macroeconomic stability, monetary policy amid rising geopolitical risks, economic growth prospects and the effects of global uncertainty on member economies. Tajikistan emphasized the institutions’ role in strengthening macroeconomic stability, improving economic policy and advancing structural reforms. The delegation also supported greater international cooperation and practical exchanges among constituency members, while identifying financial sector development, digital financial services and sustainable finance as priorities for continued cooperation. These areas echo those discussed at the constituency meeting in Tashkent in June, which also addressed banking reform, financial inclusion and green finance.
