Angola's Ministry of Finance published figures from BPC showing return on equity of 1.6 percent, a regulatory capital ratio of 26.7 percent and total deposits of AOA 1.211 trillion. The capital ratio remained above both the 8.0 percent prudential requirement and the 18.5 percent result from the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process, while deposits were more than 11.5 percent higher than in 2024. The update also highlighted growth in remote channels and payments activity. ATM transaction volume totalled AOA 1.442 trillion, up about 15.8 percent from 2024, while automatic payment transactions reached about AOA 701 billion, an increase of 154.6 percent. Comparative 2024 figures cited were deposits of AOA 1.085 trillion, own funds of AOA 286 billion, active cards of about 842,300 and ATM transaction volume of AOA 1.245 trillion.

Angola’s Ministry of Finance published Banco de Poupança e Crédito figures showing a return on equity of 1.6 percent, a regulatory capital ratio of 26.7 percent and total deposits of AOA 1.211 trillion, with capital well above prudential and SREP thresholds and deposits up more than 11.5 percent from 2024. The update also reported strong growth in remote channels and payments, with ATM transaction volume rising 15.8 percent year-on-year to AOA 1.442 trillion and automatic payment transactions increasing 154.6 percent to about AOA 701 billion.
