The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened a call for papers to stimulate research and innovation on financial sector development, with selected research to be presented in CBBH seminar rounds and published on the CBBH website. Submissions are invited from researchers at academic and policy-making institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, in the form of English-language concept notes for planned research or extended abstracts for papers that are underway or completed (maximum 800 words). Proposed topics include banking, nonbank finance, capital markets, financial system infrastructure, monetary policy, household and business finance, balance of payments and economic activity, and papers in this programme may not be submitted for publication elsewhere while under CBBH consideration. Concept notes and extended abstracts are due by 28 November 2025, with notifications of acceptance to follow after blind review by 10 December 2025 and full papers due by 14 January 2026. Presentations are scheduled for the second half of January 2026 in Sarajevo, with the format (live, webinar or hybrid) to be determined, followed by a further selection process and revisions before publication of accepted papers on 27 February 2026.
