The Union of Arab Securities Authorities (UASA), together with Algeria's COSOB and IAHEF, held a five-day training programme in Algiers on the “Investment Life Cycle”. The programme focused on building practical understanding of the venture capital lifecycle from initial evaluation through to exit. Delivered from 21–25 June at the School of Hotel & Restaurant Management in Algiers, the sessions covered investment opportunity assessment, due diligence using artificial intelligence tools, deal structuring and term negotiation, value-creation and investment management strategies, and smart risk management models. The programme concluded with an overview of exit strategies based on pre-engineered standards and frameworks.
