The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission has allowed Eternal Energy Public Company Limited to postpone submission and public disclosure of its rectified financial statements for the year 2023 and the third quarter of 2024. The deadlines move from 10 February 2025 to 28 February 2025 for the 2023 statements and to 10 March 2025 for the Q3 2024 statements. The rectification was requested after the SEC raised observations on the reasonableness and appropriateness of assumptions used to calculate recoverable amounts for asset impairment considerations related to Cannabiz way Co., Ltd and CBD Bioscience Co., Ltd, which would affect both consolidated and separate financial statements. The SEC requires the rectified statements to be audited and reviewed by the auditor before submission, together with related reports, and for related information to be disclosed under Section 56 of the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 (1992) via the SETLink Electronic System. Eternal Energy sought the extension after appointing an independent financial advisor to review and adjust cash flow projection assumptions, while the auditor required additional time to review supporting information and complete the audit and review. The company also cited preparation of its audited 2024 financial statements as a reason to avoid disruption to the 2024 reporting timeline.
