The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held the 2025 “5·15 National Investor Protection Publicity Day” event in Beijing and set out a series of investor-protection and market-governance publications to be released alongside it, including joint guidance with the Supreme People’s Court on strict and impartial enforcement and adjudication to support high-quality development of the capital market. The CSRC indicated it and related system units will publish rules on supervision of proceeds raised by listed companies, along with related business rules issued by self-regulatory organisations, and will release additional investor-protection measures and demonstration cases on mechanism innovations. The programme also includes publication of the CSRC’s 2024 enforcement overview and coordinated investor-protection publicity and education activities nationwide with local financial regulators and public security and judicial bodies.
