The Kuwait Capital Markets Authority has issued a decision to resume trading on Boursa Kuwait with effect from 2 March 2026, following a one-day trading suspension. Trading was suspended on 1 March 2026 due to turbulent regional conditions and instability in the region. The resumption decision, issued under CMA Resolution No. 24 of 2026, follows the Authority’s assessment of prevailing conditions and its conclusion that the capital market system remains sound and that market parties can conduct business under the required mechanisms in light of the exceptional events. The CMA indicated it will continue to closely monitor regional developments and take necessary measures as conditions evolve, and it advised securities market participants to follow its official channels for further decisions and procedures.
