The Angola Capital Markets Commission took part in an international webinar during Global Money Week on “How to prepare Generation Alpha for the path to financial wellbeing”, represented by Márcia Aurélio, Head of Division in its Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication. The session focused on the challenges of educating Generation Alpha, defined as those born from 2010 onwards, who are growing up in a highly digital environment with early access to technology, digital financial services and new consumption models. The event brought together Brazil’s Securities Commission and Portugal’s Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority to discuss approaches to financial education for new generations amid increasing digitalisation and early exposure to financial products and services, including strategies to encourage more informed and responsible money management from an early age.
