The Uganda Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) has invited all insurance fraud investigators to apply for renewal of their accreditation for 2026, noting that existing accreditations will expire on 31 December 2025. Renewal applications must be submitted by 31 August 2025. Applications must include a fully signed IRA application form, an active operating licence from the Uganda Police, the latest audited financial statements for 2024, a matrix of business conducted with the Ugandan insurance industry in the prior year, and proof of payment of a non-refundable accreditation fee of UGX 1,000,000 net of all bank charges.
