The Central Bank of Egypt reported that remittances from Egyptians working abroad rose 28.0% year on year to about USD 29.4 billion in July to February of fiscal year 2025/2026 from about USD 23.0 billion in the same period of fiscal year 2024/2025, while February 2026 remittances increased 25.7% to about USD 3.8 billion from about USD 3.0 billion in February 2025.

February 2026 remittances increased 25.7% to about USD 3.8 billion from about USD 3.0 billion in February 2025.
