The Islamic Development Bank Group has launched its first Country Engagement Framework with Brunei Darussalam, covering 2026–2028. Aligned with Wawasan Brunei 2035, the framework will guide initiatives supporting economic transformation and diversification, private sector development, Islamic finance and sustainable growth. During an official visit, Islamic Development Bank Group Chairman Muhammad Al Jasser also discussed the group’s 10-Year Strategic Framework 2026–2035 and its first Five-Year Corporate Strategies 2026–2030 with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Areas of alignment include human capital development, climate resilience and knowledge-driven growth, with the discussions emphasizing effective implementation of the new country framework.
