The Central Bank of Brazil has opened registration for LIFT Day 2026, an in-person event on 31 March at its headquarters in Brasília held in partnership with the National Federation of Central Bank Employees’ Associations (Fenasbac). The event will showcase technological solutions developed under the Laboratory of Financial and Technological Innovations (LIFT) and present results from LIFT Learning, LIFT Data and LIFT Lab. The programme is structured around three streams. LIFT Learning will focus on Real World Assets (RWA) and will present the final report and progress from its RWA tokenisation work. LIFT Data will present 2025 results centred on open data and information innovation, including projects linking Open Finance and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data with an emphasis on sustainability and COP30-related use cases in Brazil. LIFT Lab will announce the projects accelerated in its 2025 cycle, targeting infrastructures and themes such as Pix, Drex, embedded finance and applied artificial intelligence, following a shortlist and selection process. The release also highlights the seventh edition of LIFT Papers, covering projects from the 2023–24 cycle, including proposals spanning compliance and anti-money laundering integration, blockchain-based know-your-client for credit assessment, Pix-key-based scoring, agribusiness tokenisation, and decentralised ecosystems for tokenised green assets. The event is scheduled to run from 09:00 to 18:00 and capacity is limited.
