Bank Indonesia Governor Destry Damayanti inaugurated Mal Isnaini S. Meyyanti as head of the Macroprudential Policy Department. Meyyanti previously led the Strategic Management and Governance Department, and the appointment forms part of the central bank’s organizational strengthening efforts. Damayanti called for stronger institutional accountability, governance and leadership as Bank Indonesia carries out its broader mandate. She said the central bank’s work should deliver tangible impact, support inclusion and promote integration through coordination with strategic partners and other stakeholders.
