The Central Bank of Kuwait, in cooperation with Kuwaiti banks and the Institute of Banking Studies, has launched the fifth cohort of its Risk Management Leaders Program under the Kafa’a initiative. The five-month program is designed to develop risk management decision-making and strategy skills for professionals at banks and financial institutions. The program comprises four nonconsecutive stages, including specialist training in Kuwait, case studies and graduation projects, followed by one week of international training in the United Kingdom in cooperation with the University of St Andrews Business School. Applicants must be Kuwaiti nationals with a relevant university degree and at least five years of experience at a Kuwaiti financial or economic institution, and must pass the required tests and interviews. Applications are open through Aug. 31, 2026.
