The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) vice president, Sonia Salvatierra, opened a briefing at the Argentine Construction Chamber (CAMARCO) on Financial Trusts and Public Offering, aimed at bringing capital markets financing tools closer to construction-related companies. She framed the CNV’s current approach as focused on simplifying processes, shortening procedures, and removing unnecessary obstacles to expand access to financing, particularly for SMEs and the construction sector. Salvatierra pointed to recently adopted frameworks including special regimes for Automatic Public Offering, Tokenisation, and the regulation of PSAVs. Other CNV officials covered public offering regimes (general, special, and SME-focused) and explained the structure, process advantages, and tax benefits of financial trusts, with emphasis on financial trust structures applicable to construction and real estate; the session was held at CAMARCO and livestreamed nationally.
