The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) participated in the first soybean auction of the 2024/25 season at the Rosario Board of Trade, with CNV director Sonia Salvatierra representing the regulator. In remarks at the event, Salvatierra said CNV seeks to listen to market needs and proposals to develop instruments that reach regional economies while supporting the development of Argentina’s capital market. On the sidelines, Salvatierra met with the president of Mercado Argentino de Valores (MAV), Alberto Curado, and other MAV officials to discuss simplifying rules, improving processes, and promoting instruments to facilitate capital markets financing for agroindustry projects. The auction brought together provincial and municipal authorities, national government officials, and a broad range of agroindustry representatives and market participants, including A3 and MAV.
