The Bank of Israel has appointed Tal Harel Matityahu as Deputy Supervisor of Banks and head of the Bank-Customer Division. She will lead supervisory policy on banks’ relationships with customers, with a focus on fair treatment, transparency, consumer protection, service, access, competition and innovation. Harel Matityahu has worked at the Bank of Israel for about 24 years and previously served as Deputy Supervisor of Banks and head of the Technology, Innovation and Cyber Division. Her other roles included chief of staff to the Supervisor of Banks and leadership positions covering strategy, special projects and consumer regulation.
