The Central Bank of Costa Rica has opened its Business Performance and Outlook Survey, running from 4 to 14 March 2025, to collect short-term expectations on the evolution of economic activity from private-sector companies and commercial banks. The information gathered is intended for the Central Bank’s exclusive use in producing macroeconomic statistics, in line with the legal framework cited in the release. Historical editions of the survey results remain available through the Central Bank’s economic surveys webpage. Fieldwork for the survey is scheduled to close on 14 March 2025.
