The National Association of Insurance Commissioners appointed Jeff Ahlers as chief financial officer, effective Aug. 17. He will join the senior management team and be based in Kansas City, Missouri. Ahlers previously worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, where he led financial reporting, treasury, finance technology, tax and financial operations. He also worked with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and enterprise performance management.
