The Party Committee of the Vietnam State Securities Commission held a conference to review its party-building work for the first six months of 2026 and to set priorities for the second half of the year. The commission said the review focused on how internal party work had been carried out alongside the agency’s political and institutional duties, with leaders describing the first-half program as completed in line with directions from central authorities, the government party organization and the Ministry of Finance. Discussion at the meeting centered on maintaining ideological and political education, implementing central party resolutions and strengthening internal party discipline. A senior Ministry of Finance party official called on the commission’s party organization to continue work on protecting the party’s ideological foundation, deepen study of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics and style, and closely monitor the views and morale of party members, civil servants, public employees and workers following one year of organizational restructuring aimed at streamlining the state apparatus. Vietnam State Securities Commission Chairwoman Vu Thi Chan Phuong, who also heads the agency’s Party Committee, said the guidance and comments from the meeting would be incorporated into the committee’s work program for the remaining six months of 2026. Subordinate party organizations were also instructed to track ideological developments, analyze emerging issues and report them promptly so they can be addressed in time.
