Banco Metropolitano, in an update linked to the Central Bank of Cuba, suspended until further notice online appointment reservations for over-the-counter cash withdrawals through the MiTurno platform on Transfermóvil and the Ticket platform on EnZona. The bank tied the measure to repeated electricity service interruptions in Havana. The suspension applies only to appointments for cash withdrawal operations at teller windows. Other services available through the reservation mechanism remain unchanged, including opening or transferring a savings account, obtaining certifications or account statements, requesting or extending credit, and requesting a manager's check. Customers who booked appointments before June 25 will still be served.
