The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority reported that the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Jenifa C. Omolo, visited TIRA’s stand at the Saba Saba trade fair on 4 July 2025 and commended its efforts to promote the insurance sector, including the Insurance Village model used to deliver public education. TIRA’s participation in the 49th International Trade Fair involved more than 30 insurance service providers, including insurance companies and bank insurance agents, and included a dedicated classroom area for seminars for different groups of citizens. The authority also briefed Omolo on its priorities, including supervision of health insurance schemes.
