The National Bank of Moldova published cash operations data for June 2026 showing that cash disbursements from banks' cash desks exceeded cash receipts by MDL 109 million. Total cash receipts reached MDL 16,397 million, while cash disbursements totaled MDL 16,506 million. Compared with the same month a year earlier, cash receipts increased by MDL 784 million, or 5.0%, and cash disbursements rose by MDL 371 million, or 2.3%. Receipts from sales of consumer goods accounted for MDL 9,876 million, or 60.2% of total cash receipts, up MDL 664 million, or 7.2%, from the year-earlier period. The reported volumes include transactions in commemorative coins.
