Sweden's Riksbank announced that First Deputy Governor Anna Breman will leave the Riksbank on 10 October after being appointed Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. The Riksbank’s General Council will begin a recruitment process shortly to appoint a new member of the Executive Board. Until a replacement takes office, the Executive Board will consist of four members. Decisions will be taken by majority vote, with the Governor, as Chair of the Executive Board, holding a casting vote in the event of a tie.
