The State Bank of Vietnam has put into operation a centralized information system for handling administrative procedures and started providing 32 end-to-end online public services for businesses, with certain application dossier components substituted by data available via the National Public Service Portal. For the 32 services, credit institutions, enterprises and individuals can choose to submit applications online, in person, or via postal services. The system is designed to support end-to-end digitisation of the intake, processing and delivery of administrative procedure outcomes, with the stated objectives of shortening processing times, reducing compliance costs, and improving transparency and management effectiveness across monetary, banking and foreign exchange administration. The State Bank of Vietnam will continue gathering user needs to refine both the online services and system operations, and has published the service list and online submission guidance on its website.
