The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) granted Justos Seguros S.A. definitive authorisation to operate as an insurer in the S3 segment, underwriting property and casualty and personal insurance across Brazil without the restrictions of the experimental environment. The new licence removes limits that applied in the regulatory sandbox, including caps on the number of risks issued and on the sums insured for the coverages offered under the programme, and supports expansion into additional products that are not permitted within the innovation initiative. Justos previously participated in the second edition of SUSEP’s Regulatory Sandbox.
