The Federal Reserve Board published results from its Senior Financial Officer Survey, which collects information from banks on how they manage reserve balances and related balance sheet and funding decisions. The survey covers banks’ reserve balance management strategies and practices, expectations for potential changes in the size and composition of their balance sheets, deposit pricing strategies, and views on Federal Reserve facilities. The latest survey was conducted with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York between March 21, 2025 and March 31, 2025, and includes responses from banks holding around three-fourths of total banking system reserve balances at the time of the survey.
