The Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia has opened applications for the 2025 Best Annual Report and Transparency Award (BARTA), a competition announced jointly with the National Bank of Georgia, the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision and the Accounting Reform Beneficiaries Fund, with support from the World Bank and the Georgian Business Association. Applications close on November 30, 2025. The 2025 competition is open to first-category companies and groups, as well as all companies that are persons of public interest, with winners to be announced across 10 categories at an award ceremony in February 2026, including a “best debutant company” category for a start-up participating for the first time. BARTA was established in 2019 under a European Union and World Bank project on financial inclusion and accountability, and BARTA 2025 is supported by the World Bank’s Accounting, Auditing, and Sustainability Reporting (EAASURE) Regional Program implemented by the Center for Financial and Sustainability Reporting Reforms (CFRR).
