The China Securities Regulatory Commission reported that its Chair Wu Qing met a visiting Hong Kong delegation including Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government Financial Secretary Chen Maobo and Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Xu Zhengyu, alongside Hong Kong Monetary Authority Chief Executive Yu Weiwenn and Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Chair Huang Tianyou and Chief Executive Liang Fengyi, to exchange views on the domestic and international economic and financial backdrop and on further deepening practical cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong capital markets during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, including support for Hong Kong’s role as an international financial centre.
