The National Bank of Georgia reported that its Governor, Natia Turnava, attended the 27th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) in Yerevan and delivered remarks on the Bank’s operating environment. Turnava highlighted geopolitical challenges and the BSTDB’s exposure to regional developments, and pointed to the role of the Bank and its shareholders in navigating these pressures. On the sidelines, a business forum discussed resilience in small economies in the Black Sea region and cooperation with the BSTDB, bringing together senior government and central bank officials, international organizations and the business community. Ekaterine Guntadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, also participated in the meetings.
