The Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia and its partner authorities have launched the 2026 Best Annual Report and Transparency Award competition, known as BARTA. The program will assess corporate reporting across eight award categories, including new distinctions for state-owned enterprises and the jury’s choice, while financial and nonfinancial small and medium-sized companies will compete separately for the first time. The competition is open to category one companies and groups and all public interest entities. Listed companies will be assessed automatically if they meet the eligibility criteria, including having an unqualified audit opinion, while other public interest entities must nominate themselves. The awards also cover large financial and nonfinancial companies, sustainability reporting and first-time participants. Applications close on Nov. 10, 2026, and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in February 2027.
