The Bulgaria Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) took a set of supervisory and rulemaking decisions, including adding a new tied agent and additional professional training providers for insurance brokers to its registers, removing a mutual fund and a state fund from its registers, and approving at first reading a draft amendment to the ordinance governing compulsory motor third-party liability and passenger accident insurance. OLIVA CONSULTING EOOD was entered in the register of tied agents. The register of organizations authorised to conduct professional training of insurance brokers was expanded to include University of Insurance and Finance, WIFI Bulgaria Ltd., Solvio EOOD, Mobi2 Bulgaria Ltd., SD Group EAD, Burgas Free University, I&G Insurance Brokers EOOD and Dimitar A. Tsenov Academy of Economics. The FSC also wrote off the shares issued by the Mutual Fund (FT) Advance Opportunities in New Europe and the State Fund Advance Opportunities in New Europe from its registers. The draft ordinance amending Ordinance No. 49 of 16 October 2014 has been published for public consultation, with comments and proposals accepted for 30 days, until 05.03.2026 inclusive.
