The amendments cover the definitions book, the rules on securities activities and registered persons, listing rules, and the collective investment schemes framework. The decision also revises the authority's service fee schedule and adds new forms for the voluntary withdrawal from the exchange of listed fund units and listed bonds or sukuk. In addition, it introduces a new set of investment controls for exchange traded funds within the collective investment schemes rules. The decision takes effect from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.

The Kuwait Capital Markets Authority has amended its executive regulations in changes related to exchange traded funds. The package updates rules across definitions, securities activities, listing and collective investment schemes, revises service fees, and adds new delisting forms and ETF investment controls. It applies from the date of issuance.
