The Palestine Monetary Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, has launched the second phase of the “Bader” programme to provide up to ILS 40 million in financing for male and female workers who have lost their jobs inside the Green Line and in settlements, as well as workers who have lost their jobs in the West Bank. The programme is designed to help beneficiaries establish or expand businesses by enabling them to access bank and lending-institution financing without costs or interest. The PMA described this phase as an additional ILS 40 million injection on top of a first phase of ILS 30 million, bringing the total lending portfolio allocated to workers to ILS 70 million, with scope to increase the portfolio in line with demand. Support is paired with training and capacity-building through the PMA’s “Monshati” platform and the Ministry of Labor’s employment offices. Interested applicants were directed to submit and track applications electronically via the “Monshati” platform.
