On market structure, Pavlics expects deeper integration and connectivity among clearing houses, supporting more seamless cross-border trading and netting efficiencies across Central and Eastern Europe and with Western Europe, alongside a broader scope of cleared energy-related products including items linked to the green transition such as guarantees of origin and capacity products. She also points to greater use of AI, blockchain and advanced analytics to automate processes, strengthen risk modelling and enable more real-time insights, including improved data sharing and regulatory reporting, while maintaining a focus on resilience and robust risk management. On careers and leadership, she highlights the importance of making achievements visible, overcoming perceived trade-offs between family and career, and building strong professional and personal support teams, alongside delivering in “critical moments” and assembling high-performing teams.
