The Central Bank of Peru published figures showing Peru’s non-traditional textile exports reached USD 147 million in October 2025, an increase of 7.7% compared with the same month a year earlier, mainly driven by higher export volumes. Average export volumes rose 6%, supported by higher sales of cotton garments to Brazil and fine alpaca hair to China and Italy, while the average export price increased 1.6%. For January to October 2025, non-traditional textile exports totalled USD 1,435 million, up 6.6% from USD 1,346 million in the prior-year period, reflecting higher volumes (5.7%) and, to a lesser extent, higher prices (0.8%).
