The Dominican Republic’s Pensions Superintendency (SIPEN) awarded its “Here We Know About Pensions” seal to General de Seguros after the company met the target of training more than 100 employees on the pension system. The certification is granted to companies where more than 70% of staff have completed the virtual course “Learn about the Dominican Pension System”, delivered by SIPEN professionals. SIPEN linked the programme to addressing a broader information gap among the population regarding the pension system, while General de Seguros indicated it will continue staff development through ongoing training programmes, including diploma courses. With this award, 17 companies have now received the certification.
