The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan published an update on an international forum where dialogues focused on integrating Islamic finance instruments into the banking sector and establishing sustainable mechanisms to support the field. The forum is attended by experts and scholars from more than 20 countries, including the United States, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia and Central Asia, and is being hosted in Uzbekistan for the first time after 19 previous editions in Malaysia. Participants are expected to sign a resolution at the conclusion of the forum.
