France's Ministry of Economics & Finance has announced the fifth No Money For Terror conference, due to be held at Bercy in Paris on 19 May as a key event of France's G7 presidency. More than 70 international delegations are expected to attend to discuss how terrorist groups finance their activities and how international cooperation against terrorist financing can be strengthened. The ministry's page also provides live access to opening remarks by Economy Minister Roland Lescure and closing remarks by President Emmanuel Macron. The agenda focuses on preventing financial innovation from being diverted for terrorist financing, examining links between terrorist financing and organised crime, and tackling funding strategies based on territorial control while supporting the financial reinclusion of territories previously exposed to that control. The Paris meeting is the fifth edition of the conference launched in 2018, following follow-up editions in Melbourne in 2019, New Delhi in 2022 and Munich in 2025. Discussions will draw on the Financial Action Task Force's global stocktake of terrorist financing risks published in July 2025, reflecting the FATF's role in implementing commitments made through the No Money For Terror process.
